Vintage Ann Green silk and sequin top debuts at the Museum of Nature and Science’s star-gazing night. I loved this top and immediately categorized it as a “mermaid” top, but decided it looks “galaxy” too. Worn with wardrobe staples: Banana Republic coated black denim jeans, and my favorite black flats from Argentina years ago.
Found these awesome Taos shoes on a super sale the other day when I was walking by a random “healthy foot” store. They are incredibly comfortable and perfect for teaching. Random European stockings, vintage Louis Feraud skirt, Ralph Lauren shirt, Banana Republic sweater, Tres Noir Ultra Lux sunglasses. Favorite parts of this outfit: how the stripes show through the sleeves of the sweater, and how the shirt has a white collar.
Favorite Brixton hat from last year, Woolrich flannel layered over a long black sweater (with a hood!), Banana Republic waxed jeans, vintage Aerosoles booties. Layers are the key to staying warm in my cold studio during the long winter.
Thrifted this gorgeous vintage camel coat with perfect petite proportions and great tailoring. Worn with Banana Republic waxed jeans, Jessica Simpson thrifted heels, and my mom’s beautiful Italian silk/wool scarf. It’s still winter.
I don’t need an excuse to wear sparkly clothes, but it’s sort of extra-fun around the holidays. Love these Ann Taylor leather heels- faux snakeskin with a good party shine. Green mermaid-sparkle pants from NastyGal, Banana Republic silk shirt, J. Crew grey sweater, and a scarf I’m perma-borrowing from my mom. It’s vintage and I’m not sure where she got it but it’s always been a favorite because of the sparkle plaid, fringe, and a muted purple floral pattern.
I love layering sweaters for extra warmth and a functional fall look. Gap blue sweater under a Banana Republic oversized sweater vest and black skirt. Don’t know where these stockings came from but love the textured pattern. New Gil Torres black ankle booties!
Aconcagua boots from GiBlack, Banana Republic skirt, thrifted Ralph Lauren linen shirt, my sister’s Gap jacket. It’s good to have a nice staple black skirt that is appropriate for work but still cute- I found this in the petites section on sale and never get tired of wearing it.
