I don’t need an excuse to wear sparkly clothes, but it’s sort of extra-fun around the holidays. Love these Ann Taylor leather heels- faux snakeskin with a good party shine. Green mermaid-sparkle pants from NastyGal, Banana Republic silk shirt, J. Crew grey sweater, and a scarf I’m perma-borrowing from my mom. It’s vintage and I’m not sure where she got it but it’s always been a favorite because of the sparkle plaid, fringe, and a muted purple floral pattern.
Awesome vintage lace shirt from the personal collection of the Style Crone. It’s a great creme shirt that has a lining (I tucked that part in), and a billowy lace overlay. Black pencil skirt from Ann Taylor last year. Perfect black heels from Zara– I want the orange version too! They are a great shape from all angles, make my legs look awesome, and are easy to walk in because of the ankle strap! Obsessed.
I have a good collection of vintage silk scarves and love trying different ways to wear them. Marc Jacobs has a great ad campaign out now with big scarves wrapped around the waist. I’m inspired, and now this scarf belt/apron/sash is my new favorite accessory. Also gives a bit of shape to this big boxy shirt. Vintage Ellen Tracy silk feather scarf (thrifted), Ann Taylor Loft purple shirt ($4.98 on sale last month!), vintage necklace, Madewell Skinny Skinny Ankle jeans, vintage red Jazz pumps (thrifted).
