Love this S.W.O.R.D. leather jacket more and more each year I wear it. Vintage thrifted blue crop top, pink silk skirt, YSL scarf, turquoise rings. Gil Torres boots.
Brixton Panama hat, awesome halter romper/playsuit hand-me-down from my friend Kristen (Mossimo from Target), thrifted leather Made in Italy for Nordstrom tiny purse, GiBlack Abarcas.
50 Dresses leopard dress with lace inset on the front. I have been working with versions of this dress for a while, and finally fished it out of the “finish later” pile. I love the stretch black lace at the front and how it balances the scoop back. It’s elastic at the waist and very comfortable. Sometimes I want to feel fancy and dressed up, but also as comfortable as if I was lounging in a muumuu. Actually sometimes that is the only way I will go out at night, so this dress is the solution.
I’m LOVING these new Jenni Kayne navy patent gladiator sandals (from last season, but found on eBay), but still coveting a pair of her d’orsay flats. S.W.O.R.D. leather jacket, Italian leather purse from my sister. Gold key-hole earrings from Nasty Gal. 50 Dresses leather hair tie wrap.
Brixton hat (sample), S.W.O.R.D leather moto jacket (one of my most prized pieces- it is so soft), vintage custom cut down Santa Fe Boot Co. boots (buy tall vintage boots and find a good cobbler to cut them down!), thrifted vintage jewelry, thrifted blue Gap sweater, and jeans and clutch I wore yesterday.
Brixton felted wool hat, S.W.O.R.D. leather jacket, Catherine Malandrino silk and lace tank, vintage silk scarf, Madewell jeans, vintage boots.
Hanae Mori Vintage sunglasses I found in a thrift store years ago. They are polarized and incredible. New Mexican medicine bag I found in my childhood jewelry box. Sperry Top Sider boaties, Simply Vera black stretch jeans, S.W.O.R.D leather jacket, Hanes boy’s shirt, Stella & Dot earrings. In other news, I finally got a haircut!
Found this great Woolrich shirt at my $1.49-per-pound Goodwill, so it likely cost $.57. I never would have found/bought it via the traditional shopping route, and I’m reminded of why I love thrift hunting. I’m wearing it with a black cashmere sweater underneath so it operates as a jacket. This bag is an amazing gift from my sister’s trip to Italy a few years back and I want to use it forever. Jeans, boots, sunnies are staples.
I’m excited about rings and crop tops for the spring! I also should think about painting my nails sometime, yikes. Wearing a new crop top (thrifted), S.W.O.R.D jacket, Railcar Donna high waisted jeans, and Sperry white boat shoes (ebay!) Rings are L-R: gold signet ring from my grandma, turquoise thrift store find, Etsy knuckle rings, my mom’s New Mexican vintage stunner, and Rossmore ring chain (loving it). My sister bought this leather clutch in NY years ago and it fits my Kindle like a glove!
Did a fun event this weekend selling dresses with a bunch of other local independent designers in Denver. Wore S.W.O.R.D leather jacket, 50 Dresses leopard print dress with a vintage brooch, nude fishnets, and amazing vintage boots. There was an indoor swing! I want one now.
I want to wear stretchy mini skirts and satin tights all the time. The boots are comfy as well, and I’m now thinking of switching to all jersey, all the time. Just kidding.
Skirt- Norma Kamali for Walmart (so sad this line is over)
Tights- Wolford Satin Deluxe. (AMAZING)
Boots- Ann Taylor (I got them on sale for $19.88 no lie)
